How do plant and animal survive the chill of winter?

living things have develop a range of strategies to help them survive the cold of winter. Many plants shed their leaves for winter and so begin a period of dormancy or rest. Animals, too, have a range of different ways of dealing with winter. Some migrate to warmer climates to escape the cold while others hibernate. For many, however, there is no let-u[p in the struggle to survive. Life must go on, whatever the weather.

p/s: 'life must go on, whatever the weather', see that for animal and plant. But, for us that life must go on too but with different way. whatever happen to us, either it a good thing or bad thing. we must always be strong.
I remember a phase that said ' If I fail, I will try again, and again, and again until it complete success'.
